ACLU Carroll County Chapter records
The ACLU Carroll County Chapter was organized in 1968 and first met on April 7, 1969 on the campus of West Georgia College. Although the organization helped raise awareness of larger national issues like abortion and prison reform, the group focused the majority of their attention and resources on cases involving students.

AIDS and Substance Abuse Speakers Network (ASASN) Records
The AIDS and Substance Abuse Speakers Network (ASASN) was a non-profit organization formed in 1990 to provide a network of speakers to publicize issues surrounding AIDS and substance abuse and disbanded in 2010. Its founder, Lee Kearney, lost her son, Kevin, to AIDS in 1993.
Alley Cat Drag Show collection (Invisible Histories Project)
The Alley Cat Drag Show collection contains event photographs, photographs of flyers (not the originals), and an event show poster depicting the performance of "drag," the act of dressing or acting in a manner outside of what is presumed or prescribed for a particular gender. The drag performances depicted within this collection pertain to sponsored events from 2016 to 2021 at the Alley Cat, a restaurant and bar in Carrollton, Georgia.

Leroy Almon papers
Leroy Almon (1938-1997) was a nondenominational evangelist and artist born in Tallapoosa, Georgia. He is recognized as a prominent Folk artist throughout the southeast with some of his works showcased in the Smithsonian, the High Art Museum, and the House of Blues. Almon’s artworks depict contemporary, historical, and religious themes and are generally commentaries on African American and American life.
