Overview This collection consists of images from circa 1960 of the cotton manufacturing mill in Sargent, Georgia, originally named Willcoxon Manufacturing Co. The Coweta County plant was founded in 1866 and changed hands several times over the next century. The complex of mill buildings and the town that grew up around have been listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Sargent Historic District.
