Correspondence, ephemera, promotional materials, reports, and other materials about the Intercollegiate Athletics department, Athletic Foundation, and the Wolves Club.
Of particular interest in this collection is an athletic attendence study that was conducted in 2018 and the financial statements and auditor's report from 2011. Also included in the collection is correspondence to Matthew Clay, Associate Athletic Director, which shows his connections across campus and with students.

Biographical / Historical
The Intercollegiate Athletic Department, often referred to as the Athletic Department, is a division of the President's Office. Intercollegiate athletics refers to sports--such as softball, volleyball, football, basketball, etc.--that take place between or participating in activities between different colleges.
The UWG Atheletic Foundation was founded in 2013 as an independent, non-profit organization "to support a preeminent intercollegiate athletics program at the University of West Georgia by providing student athletes the opprortunity to achieve excellence in academics, community service, and athletic competition" (By-laws, April 2013).
