The Kyle Marrero papers contain the invitation and program for his inauguration, Engage West materials, booklets, emergency response plans, meeting agendae and notes, calendar printouts, email messages and other correspondence, surveys and survey results, handwritten notes, presentation notes, presentation slides (printed), timelines, booklets, tables and charts, handbooks, printed reports, memos, prospectuses, and search committee materials for a Head Football Coach.

Biographical / Historical
Dr. Kyle Marrero joined the University of West Georgia as its seventh President on July 1, 2013. His inauguration took place on September 19, 2014. As president, Marrero focused on establishing a culture of high performance and evidence-based leadership, data-informed decision-making, and communication transparency. Dr. Marrero worked to raise and enhance enrollment, graduation rates, degrees conferred, University fundraising, and annual economic impact. During his tenure as president, the University of West Georgia won the 2015 AASCU national award for innovation and excellence; UWG and Dr. Marrero were selected at the University System of Georgia's Institution and President of the Year; and Dr. Marrero was picked by Georgia Trend as one of the “100 Most Influential Georgians."
