This collection contains eighteen videocassettes of West Georgia College's United Voices Gospel Choir. Included are the choir's performances in Spring and Fall 1992, Spring and Fall 1994, Spring and Fall 1995, Fall 1999, Spring and Fall 2000, Spring and Fall 2001, Spring 2002, Spring and Fall 2003, and Fall 2004.

Biographical / Historical
The United Voices Gospel Choir was founded in 1974 as the United Voices Choir of West Georgia by the Reverend Jared Jennings and Dr. O.B. Yates. The name of the group was inspired by Yates' experience in the United Voices of Kansas State Choir. Jennings and Yates saw a need for African American students atending West Georgia College to have an outlet and additional extra curricular activities. This student organization provided members a sense of fellowship, worship, and comaraderie. Dr. Yates served as the founding faculty advisor for the group.
