Biographical / Historical
There are two Baptist associations that serve the West Georgia area, the Carrollton Baptist Association and the Central Western Missionary Baptist Association. These two associations have been serving in the West Georgia area since the 1940s. The Baptist Association has been a place for voluntary fellowship shared by the Baptist churches in the West Georgia area. Each year, the association meets at a church in this area to conduct fellowship.
