This collection contains two memory books from 1927-1931, as well as a 1966 Carrollton High School newspaper. The large memory book is very fragile and should be handled with care.

Biographical/Historical note

Kathleen Yancey was perhaps born on June 23, 1913. She graduated from Carrollton High School in 1931 and was voted to be Salutatorian and Most Intellectual. Not much is known about her life following high school. Yancey may have moved to Dothan, Alabama at some point. She passed away in 1996.
