These files are mainly composed of committee and sub-committee hearing paperwork, including testimony and written statements of witnesses who were subpoenaed. Some of the major controversies reviewed were Attorney General Janet Reno's refusal to appoint independent counsel for the impeachment hearings; the White House email scandal; and President Clinton campaign finances from foreign sources, especially Charlie Trie and John Huang. Also included are files from the business meetings of the committee, where House bills and amended drafts would be voted on.
