Scope and Contents note

There are several unedited, original, typed chapters of an autobiography. Within this writing are very personal details about being Jewish during WW II as well as his philosophies of art. Also, this folder contains handwritten, personal correspondences from the artist to Ingo Swann. As well, this folder contains copies of the historic newspaper, “The World,” dated September 27, 1927 and May 29, 1928 featured Mr. Katz’s artwork along with several other prominent artist of the era.
