Scope and Contents note
This series was processed early after the Roll collection came to Ingram Library. It is only a very small portion of his entire collection and appears to represent primarily his correspondence for specific years, as well as several boxes of manuscript files for his books, The Poltergeist and Theory and Experiment in Psychical Research.

Arrangement note
Correspondence files upon donation by Dr. Roll in 1987, both incoming and outgoing, were grouped by year or years, then alphabetical within each grouping of years. In 2012 the materials were re-ordered and files created by alphabetical listing by correspondent.
