Abstract:This collection contains photographs and photographic negatives of Carroll County, Georgia. Most depict Carrollton, Georgia at the turn of the twentieth century and include scenery such as Adamson Square and the Fourth District A & M School.

Scope and Content Note

This collection contains original photographs, photocopies, and postcards of Carroll County, Georgia. Most depict Carrollton, Georgia at the turn of the twentieth century and include scenery such as Adamson Square and the Fourth District A&M School. Adamson Square is the setting for many posed photographs involving large groups of people, always with their horses and carts, and another picture was taken before the renovation of the square in 1958. Negatives were made of each picture as well.
